The Annette Hawkins Dance Ensemble blend the disciplines of Jazz, Hip Hop and Ballet Dance in order to capture the energy and excitement of today's society. The company performs throughout the state and have been honored with several dance awards including the distinguished Regency Talent Competition in Jazz Dancing. FIFTH ANNUAL "DANCE SISTAH, DANCE" FESTIVAL
The Fifth Annual "Dance Sistah, Dance" concert will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Taylor Park Auditorium, 39 W. 47th Street. Scheduled performers include: Alpha Psi Lambda; Cymbals of Dance; Framework Dance Chicago; The Annette Hawkins Dance Ensemble, Intrigue Dance and Performing Arts Center; Erika Jarvis/Creative Soul; Khalidah’s North African Dance Experience; Boogie McLaurin/Dance Collective; Mz. Georgia and S.O.M (Seniors/Sustahz On the Move), Alitra Cartman, and others.
